Bay Area Hang Gliding is the San Francisco bay areas premier hang gliding school. BAHG promises to give their students the highest quality hang gliding experience. In March of 2008 BAHG partnered up some of the bay areas best and most experienced hang gliding instructors. Together these USHPA certified instructors make up the bay areas preferred full service hang gliding shop.
Conveniently located in Mountain View California, Bay Area Hang Gliding is ready to help you realize your dream of flying. Our new hang gliding pro-shop will soon be opening in Sunnyvale.
Our Instructors
Heading up our lessons department is Mike Jefferson. Mike joined the USHGA in the year 2000. Mike is an Advanced Rated Pilot, an Advanced Instructor and a Tandem Instructor. Mike has been teaching hang gliding for eight years and considers himself lucky to have taught hundreds of students for Mission Soaring Center in 2006 and 2007. Mike credits Pat Denevan from Mission Soaring Center for being the biggest influence on his flying career.
We have several other instructors working with us to provide our students with the largest variety of flight instruction experience. We hope to post more about these great instructors in the near future, as this site continues to grow.
